The control of vibration regulations 2005 Limit the levels of  vibration a person may be exposed to during a working day.

They require employers to ensure that vibration exposures from the use of tools or instrumentation used during the course of their business does not exceed maximum levels.

Employers are required to assess vibration levels and exposure times and develop strategies to reduce vibration levels and exposures where appropriate.

The regulations require that organisations ensure there is a system of health surveillance for all workers where there is a significant risk of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS).

How can Euro Environmental Help You?

We can help organisations by conducting comprehensive measurements and risk assessments as well as carrying out routine Health Surveillance. Our consultants can also assist you by working alongside your personnel to develop strategies that reduce the risk of excessive vibration.
