If workplace exposure and air quality is an ongoing concern in your workplace, we can offer a solution. Our industrial hygiene monitoring devices are designed to detect levels of the most significant airborne contaminants associated with industrial activities.
One of our occupational hygiene technicians will install and setup the devices at your site, we will then provide ongoing monthly reviews of the data along with an annual maintenance/calibration service.
Typical scenarios that might benefit from this type of technology include environments where air quality needs to be maintained to protect processes and products along with preventing exposure to workers.
Volatile organic compounds (VOC’s)
The levels of volatile organic compounds are detected using a photo ionisation sensor capable of achieving a resolution of 0.1 ppm. Monitoring levels of total volatiles within the workplace, covering an extensive range of potentially harmful vapours that may be generated from industrial processes.
Dust
The particulate sensor will detect dust levels as small as 1 micron in size using laser light scattering technology. These sensors allow PM2.5 and PM10 alerts to be set to ensure workplace exposure limits are not exceeded.
Our sensors can be strategically positioned throughout your workplace to provide a representative picture of potential exposure and air quality. Our technology will provide real-time data that can be accessed live on the cloud using our wireless ethernet or 4G connectivity.
2021-04-24
Every year, thousands of workers are made ill from exposure to dust in the workplace that could result in an increase of lung diseases including Occupational Asthma, COPD and even Cancer.
