Why do I need training?

It is a legal requirement under The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 to ensure that managers and staff who are likely to deal with or encounter asbestos products as part of their work receive annual asbestos awareness training to ensure they understand and know how to deal with asbestos associated risks at work.

Inadequate management, lack of training and poor communication have all been identified as contributory factors in Legionella outbreaks. Our awareness course is designed to provide an introduction to legionella management, it is suitable for those responsible for managing smaller sites or those that carry out monitoring tasks on larger premises. If you are responsible for managing legionella at a larger site or across a number of locations our ‘Responsible Persons’ training course may be better for you.
